How we handle your data
Last reviewed: 11 June 2026
This policy explains what personal data OurDream AI collects when you visit www.blc-english.co.uk, why we collect it, and the rights you hold under UK data protection law.
We have tried to keep this readable. If anything is unclear, ask us — the address is at the bottom.
Who we are
For the purposes of UK GDPR, OurDream AI is the data controller for this website. You can reach us at [email protected] on anything covered here.
What we collect
Less than you might expect. We do not ask you to create an account or hand over personal details to read our pages. In normal use we process:
- Technical data your browser sends automatically — IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you view.
- Cookie and analytics data, used to understand which content is useful and to keep the site working. The detail lives in our Cookie Policy.
- Anything you send us directly, such as the contents of an email if you get in touch.
Why we use it, and the lawful basis
Technical and analytics data is processed under our legitimate interest in running and improving a website, and — where it applies — your consent for non-essential cookies. If you email us, we use your message to reply to you, which is the obvious and only purpose.
How long we keep it
Server logs are short-lived and rotate out within a few weeks. Analytics data is retained in aggregate. Correspondence is kept only as long as it is useful, then deleted.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We never have. A small number of service providers — hosting and analytics — process data on our behalf under contract, and only for the purposes above. When you follow an affiliate link to another platform, that platform's own privacy policy takes over; we cover the commercial side of those links in our Affiliate Disclosure.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, or restrict how we use it, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Email us and we will respond within the statutory month, usually much sooner.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a request, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator.
Changes
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material updates will be obvious rather than buried. For how all of this fits together, see our Cookie Policy and our Terms of Service, and you can return to OurDream AI at any time.
